Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER EXPLORER XCX

Accessories for the Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx is an adventure touring bike suited to long road journeys and detours onto unpaved tracks. That mix makes wind protection, luggage and protection against knocks useful starting points. What deserves attention first depends on how you ride: motorway miles, weekends with a pillion and trips that leave the tarmac each place different demands on your setup.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx

• Windscreens: reducing wind exposure matters on long motorway stretches and full days on the road. Your height and seated riding position help determine which screen makes sense for touring on the Tiger Explorer XCx.
• Crash bars and protection: worth considering when your journeys include tracks or low-speed manoeuvres with luggage. They can help limit damage from certain knocks and low-speed falls, particularly when the ground becomes uneven.
• Panniers: give clothing and travel essentials a dedicated place on multi-day trips. For two-up touring, plan around the space both riders need and how the load will be distributed, rather than packing for the rider alone.
• Footrests: your footing matters both when seated through long road sections and when standing on tracks. On this adventure bike, the choice is closely linked to riding posture and how often you venture off the tarmac.
• Levers: winding roads and slow manoeuvres call for repeated brake and clutch use. A comfortable finger position is particularly useful on longer outings, so consider how you operate the controls in your usual riding gloves.

Choosing parts for 2016-2017 and 2018-2021 bikes

The Tiger Explorer XCx has changed over the years, so the 2016-2017 and 2018-2021 versions do not always take the same parts. Windscreens and levers are two examples where an accessory for one version may not fit the other. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
