Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER EXPLORER XR

Accessories for touring on the Triumph Tiger Explorer XR

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XR is an adventure bike suited to road touring, from weekend escapes to longer trips with a pillion. Motorway stretches and winding country roads place different demands on the rider, so useful additions focus on wind protection, carrying luggage and staying comfortable throughout a full day in the saddle.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger Explorer XR

• Windscreens: Wind protection matters most when your route includes sustained motorway riding. Screen height and shape influence airflow around your upper body and helmet, making this a worthwhile area to consider for regular long-distance trips on the Tiger.
• Luggage: Multi-day touring means finding room for clothing and the things you need at each stop. Dedicated motorcycle luggage reduces reliance on bags strapped to the seat, particularly when a pillion needs that space for the journey.
• Crash protectors and bars: A stationary drop while parking a loaded touring bike can damage exposed areas. These accessories add protection for those low-speed mishaps, rather than only serving riders who venture away from surfaced roads.
• Footpegs: Foot support deserves attention when you spend hours in the same riding position. On a road-focused adventure trip, it matters both while settling into a motorway stint and when shifting your posture through a series of bends.
• Phone mounts: Keeping navigation in view is useful when a touring route takes you onto unfamiliar roads or towards an overnight stop. Set your destination before moving off and pull over safely before making changes.

Choosing parts for the 2016-2017 and 2018-2020 versions

The Tiger Explorer XR has changed over the years, so parts do not necessarily fit both the 2016-2017 and 2018-2020 versions. Levers, windscreens and stands are examples where fit can differ. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your version.
