Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER EXPLORER XRX

Accessories for the Triumph Tiger Explorer XRx

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XRx is an adventure bike with a strong road-touring focus. Long motorway stretches, weekends away with a pillion and everyday journeys each place different demands on your setup. Wind protection, useful luggage space and a comfortable riding position are sensible priorities when your time on the bike extends well beyond a short commute.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger Explorer XRx

• Screens: Managing airflow matters on the motorway miles that often link the more interesting parts of a touring route. Screen height and shape influence the shelter you get while sitting in your normal riding position.
• Luggage: Cases give clothing and overnight essentials a dedicated home rather than leaving everything in a rucksack. For two-up trips on the Tiger Explorer XRx, organising both riders’ belongings becomes particularly useful when several nights away are involved.
• Crash protectors and bars: These help limit damage in a stationary tip-over. Manoeuvring with luggage and parking at unfamiliar stops are regular parts of touring, so this protection has a role even if your journeys stay on tarmac.
• Footrests: Hours on the road draw attention to how comfortably your boots sit, as well as where your hands rest. Footrests are worth considering when refining your riding position for a mixture of motorway riding and winding roads.
• Phone mounts: A mounted phone can make navigation easier to follow when exploring unfamiliar roads. This is useful for finding overnight accommodation or negotiating town centres at the end of a touring day, without handling the device while riding.

Choosing parts for 2016-2017 and 2018-2020 bikes

The Tiger Explorer XRx has changed over the years, so the 2016-2017 and 2018-2020 versions do not always take the same accessories. Levers, screens and stands are examples of parts that do not fit every year interchangeably. Choose your bike’s year on this page to display only the accessories that fit your version.
