Accessories for TRIUMPH TRACKER 400

Accessories for the Triumph Tracker 400

Accessories for the Triumph Tracker 400 can put the emphasis on everyday road use, with changes to the controls, riding position and protection. For a setup aimed at commuting and weekend rides, start with how you sit on the bike and reach the levers. If longer stretches of open road feature in your plans, wind protection becomes another useful consideration.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tracker 400

• Handlebars and levers: stop-start commuting means frequent braking and gear changes, so hand position deserves attention on a daily-use Tracker 400. These parts let you tailor the control area, with the aim of keeping your wrists comfortable and the levers within easy reach in traffic.
• Footpegs: these work with the handlebars to shape your riding position. For a mix of town journeys and winding country roads, consider how your feet are supported and how far your knees bend, rather than treating footpegs purely as a styling detail.
• Screens: worth considering when your Tracker 400 spends more time on open roads than on short urban trips. A screen helps redirect airflow, while its height and shape influence the shelter it provides during longer stretches at a steady speed.
• Mirrors: useful rearward vision matters when changing lanes in town and keeping track of approaching traffic on the road. Their position in relation to your arms and handlebars is just as important as the visual effect they create on the bike.
• Crash bungs and bars: a practical addition for daily riding that involves regular parking and low-speed manoeuvres. They can help protect parts of the bike in some low-speed drops or impacts, although the areas covered depend on the individual design.

When changing handlebars, levers and mirrors together, treat them as one setup. Your chosen hand position should leave the controls easy to operate without your arms obscuring the view behind.
