Accessories for the Triumph Trident 660

The Triumph Trident 660 is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. That mix of commuting and leisure riding shapes which accessories earn their place: a screen for exposed stretches, protection for urban use and controls that feel comfortable when you spend longer in the saddle.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Trident 660

• Screens: worth considering if your commute includes dual carriageways or your weekend routes involve longer open-road sections. On a naked bike like the Trident, a screen can ease wind pressure on your upper body, with its size and shape determining the balance between shelter and appearance.
• Protectors and crash bungs: useful for a Trident that sees frequent parking manoeuvres and daily town riding. They can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary drop, rather than leaving exposed parts to take the first contact with the ground.
• Levers: busy urban journeys mean repeatedly working the clutch and front brake. Lever shape and reach therefore matter on a commuting Trident: the aim is a comfortable relationship between your hand and the controls, not simply a different finish on the handlebar.
• Footrests: a secure, comfortable foothold matters when a weekend route turns twisty. Their shape and contact surface influence how your feet sit on the bike, so a Trident used for both commuting and leisure needs a balance between support and everyday comfort.
• Tail tidies: a styling option for giving the rear a cleaner look that suits the Trident's naked character. Their role is primarily visual, making them a finishing touch rather than an answer to wind exposure or comfort on longer rides.

For a town-focused Trident, protection and comfortable controls are sensible starting points. If you regularly head further afield, wind protection deserves more attention than cosmetic changes.
