Accessories for the Vespa Granturismo 200

The Vespa Granturismo 200 is a scooter well suited to getting around town and to journeys that take you beyond a short local trip. Frequent stops, time spent parked and changing weather all shape which accessories are worth considering. For this Vespa, what you fit can be as much about the hours it spends standing outside as the time you spend riding it.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa Granturismo 200

Start with the way you actually use the scooter. A commute with several stops calls for a different approach from a longer ride on more open roads, while wet or chilly days bring their own priorities.

• Security locks: useful when the Granturismo 200 is left parked between errands or outside work. Artago is one of the accessory brands here; a lock addresses the everyday reality of leaving a city scooter unattended during regular stops.
• Covers and leg covers: these serve different parts of your routine. A cover is relevant while the Vespa is parked, whereas a leg cover can make riding through colder, wetter days more comfortable. Both make sense when the scooter is used throughout the week rather than only in settled weather.
• Screens: worth considering if your route includes long avenues or roads where you spend more time riding at a steady pace. A screen helps shield you from oncoming air, making it particularly relevant when a quick journey across town turns into a longer one.
• Handlebar accessories: the bars are where you interact with the scooter throughout every turn, stop and change of direction. Parts for this area may be of interest if hand position and the feel of riding through busy streets matter to you.

Think about the journey you make most often before settling on an accessory: where the Vespa is parked, how far you ride and the weather you ride in. That keeps the focus on what will be useful in your own routine.
