Accessories for the Vespa GTS 150

The Vespa GTS 150 is a scooter well suited to getting around town, running errands and taking the occasional longer ride. Those different journeys place different demands on it: you may want somewhere to carry your belongings, some shelter from the wind or protection suited to regular urban use. The most useful accessories depend on where you spend your time on the scooter, rather than on fitting everything at once.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa GTS 150

Think about your regular routes and what you carry. These accessories address familiar needs when a scooter is used for commuting, local journeys and trips beyond town:

• Protectors: worth considering when the GTS 150 is parked frequently and manoeuvred through tight spaces. They help protect the areas they are designed for from the scuffs that can come with everyday city use.
• Suspension: relevant if your journeys include uneven streets as well as faster roads. It is a way to focus on how the scooter feels over the surfaces you ride most often, particularly when your route changes from one day to the next.
• Screens: provide shelter from the airflow on stretches where you maintain a steady speed. That can make a noticeable difference to how exposed you feel during longer rides beyond the usual trip across town.
• Mudguards: help limit spray from wet roads. They are especially useful if the Vespa is part of your daily routine and you ride in conditions that are not always dry.
• Luggage cases: give you a place for everyday items or what you need on a short trip, without relying on a backpack. They suit a scooter that might take you from commuting straight to errands or a ride out.

For frequent town journeys, protection and carrying space are natural priorities. If you regularly head further afield, a screen or suspension accessories may be more relevant to the way you ride.
