Accessories for the Vespa GTS 250

The Vespa GTS 250 is a scooter suited to everyday travel around town as well as rides beyond it. That mix of journeys shapes what is worth fitting. Where you park, how much time you spend riding and whether you carry on through colder, wetter months all matter more than adding accessories for their own sake.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa GTS 250

Start with the journeys you actually make. A scooter left outside during the working day has different needs from one that regularly heads out onto open roads. The accessories below address those familiar parts of riding and living with a Vespa GTS 250:

• Security locks: frequent stops can mean leaving your scooter parked several times in a day. A lock is particularly relevant if you use the Vespa for commuting or errands and need to leave it on the street between rides.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the scooter is parked outdoors, while a leg cover can make routine rides more comfortable in cold or wet weather. Both are worth considering if you ride through the seasons rather than putting the Vespa away when the weather turns.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind off you when your route moves from slower town streets to more exposed roads. That can make a noticeable difference to comfort on a regular journey that includes stretches outside the city.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebar area is part of every ride, from negotiating traffic to spending longer in the saddle. Accessories for this area are worth considering when you want to focus on how the scooter feels at the controls during your usual journeys.

Think about the part of your riding day you would most like to improve. For the Vespa GTS 250, that might be parking with greater peace of mind, coping with the weather or feeling less exposed to the wind.
