Accessories for the Vespa GTV 250

The Vespa GTV 250 is a scooter suited to getting around town, with room in its routine for rides beyond the city as well. Those different journeys call for different accessories. Some are useful when the scooter is parked between errands, others suit everyday riding, and others let you pay attention to its distinctive appearance. What matters most depends on where and how often you ride.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa GTV 250

• Bodywork and styling: parts in this category can refresh visible details or help you look after the GTV 250’s appearance. That matters on a scooter whose looks are part of its appeal, particularly when it is used regularly rather than kept for occasional outings.
• Security locks: a scooter used for errands may be left parked several times in a single day. A lock is worth considering for those stops, whether you are away for a quick visit or leaving the Vespa for longer.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the GTV 250 is parked for a while, while a leg cover can make colder rides through town more comfortable. They answer two different questions: what happens when you leave the scooter, and how you feel while riding it.
• Levers: traffic lights, junctions and slow-moving streets mean frequent use of the controls. Levers are therefore worth a look if you want the GTV 250’s hand controls to feel right on the journeys you make most often.
• Mirrors: checking what is behind you is a constant part of joining traffic and moving through town. Mirrors also have a noticeable effect on the Vespa’s appearance, making them relevant to both daily riding and its overall look.

These accessories serve different parts of life with the GTV 250. Think about where you park it, the weather you ride in and the routes you take most often before deciding what to focus on.
