Accessories for the Vespa LX 125

The Vespa LX 125 is a scooter well suited to city life, from commuting to work to making several stops on the way home. That pattern of short, frequent journeys shapes what is worth fitting: something to secure it when parked, some shelter from the weather and somewhere to put the things you carry. This page brings together accessories for LX 125 models from 2005 to 2014.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa LX 125

• Security locks: city riding often means leaving the scooter outside more than once a day, sometimes for a few minutes and sometimes for hours. A lock gives you a way to secure it during both your regular commute and quick stops for errands.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind off your upper body on faster roads between neighbourhoods. It is also worth considering if an early start or an evening ride home makes your usual journey feel exposed.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the LX 125 spends long periods parked outdoors, while a leg cover is aimed at riding through colder months. One helps while the scooter is standing still; the other addresses the ride itself.
• Luggage: carrying a work bag or picking up a few things on the way home is easier when you have a dedicated place for them. For a scooter used throughout the day, that can make routine stops more straightforward.
• Suspension: raised crossings, uneven surfaces and patched roads are familiar parts of many urban routes. If you cover the same streets every day, suspension is worth thinking about for the way the scooter feels over those repeated bumps.

How often you park away from home and what you need to carry are useful starting points. They keep the focus on the journeys your LX 125 actually makes, rather than on accessories intended for an occasional longer ride.
