Accessories for the Vespa PX 150

The Vespa PX 150 is a classic-style scooter well suited to town riding and everyday journeys. On a typical day, it may be parked while you are at work or running an errand, then back on the road among junctions and changing traffic. That pattern of use makes two things especially relevant when considering accessories: looking after the scooter while it is parked and keeping track of what is happening behind you while you ride.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa PX 150

The accessories available for this scooter address two different parts of a journey. One matters when you step away from the bike; the other matters once you are moving again. Both are worth thinking about if your PX 150 is part of a daily commute or a series of short trips across town.

• Locks: a useful addition when you leave your PX 150 parked on the street between journeys. If a day involves several stops in different places, using a lock each time you walk away can become a straightforward part of your parking routine, rather than something you only think about for longer stays.
• Mirrors: important for keeping an eye on traffic approaching from behind as you move through junctions or change lanes. On a scooter used around town, where you may stop and set off repeatedly, a clear rearward view helps you stay aware of nearby vehicles alongside the direct checks you make before manoeuvring.
