Accessories for the Vespa S 125

The Vespa S 125 is a scooter at home on city streets, where short journeys, frequent stops and parking outside are part of the routine. That makes everyday protection and comfort more useful than equipment intended for long-distance touring. The right additions depend on whether you mainly commute, run errands or leave the scooter parked outdoors for much of the day.

What riders usually fit to the Vespa S 125

• Protectors: repeated parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces can mean the occasional minor scrape. Protection is worth considering if your Vespa spends much of its time alongside other vehicles on the street.
• Screens: a screen takes some of the wind off your upper body. It can make a noticeable difference when your city commute includes faster roads, particularly when you ride through the colder months.
• Locks: useful when the S 125 is left outside during work, errands or a series of short stops. Think about where you normally park and how you will carry the lock between those stops.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover helps shelter the scooter while it is parked outdoors. A leg cover can make regular journeys more comfortable in cold or wet weather, when you still need to get across town.
• Luggage: extra carrying space keeps everyday items off your shoulders while you ride. It is particularly handy if you take the Vespa to work or use it for small shopping trips.

For regular city riding, start with the part of your routine that needs help most: outdoor parking, exposure to the weather or carrying your daily essentials.
