Accessories for the Voge 500DS

The Voge 500DS is an adventure-style bike suited to everyday journeys as well as longer rides on the road. That mix of uses makes a difference when choosing accessories. A screen may matter most if you spend hours riding upright at a steady pace; for other riders, exhaust sound or keeping on top of routine maintenance will be the priority. This page brings together exhausts, filters and screens for the 500DS.

What riders usually fit to the Voge 500DS

• Screens: a ride that starts with a short trip across town can turn into a full day on the road. Wind protection becomes more noticeable over those longer stretches, particularly with the upright riding position associated with an adventure bike. Think about where the airflow reaches you when riding at a steady speed.
• Exhausts: an alternative exhaust can change the character of the 500DS's sound. It is worth considering how that sound will feel on your usual journeys, whether you mainly ride locally or cover long distances at weekends. What appeals on a brief ride may feel different after several hours on the bike.
• Filters: regular maintenance matters when you rely on the same bike for weekday travel and trips further afield. A filter is one of the parts to keep in mind when planning that work, especially if you would rather attend to it before setting off on a longer ride.

Accessory brands listed for the 500DS include Sprint Filter, Mivv, Givi and Ixil. Start with the aspect of riding you notice most: wind on open roads, the sound accompanying a long day out, or the maintenance you want to take care of before the next trip. That gives each addition a clear purpose on your bike.
