Accessories for the Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E1

The Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E1 is a scooter well suited to everyday journeys. For that sort of riding, the time spent between trips matters too: parking on the street, manoeuvring in tight spaces and leaving the scooter outside. Accessories that address those situations can be more useful than additions aimed at longer rides. This page brings together accessories for Aerox models from 1997 to 2002, with options for riding, parking and looking after the scooter when it is not in use.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E1

• Protectors: worth considering when the Aerox is regularly wheeled into a crowded parking space. They can help limit scuffs to exposed areas during the small manoeuvres that are part of daily scooter use.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view on unfamiliar city routes, so you do not have to take your phone out at every stop. Positioning matters on a scooter used for frequent turns and stops.
• Locks: particularly useful if a normal day involves several short journeys with the Aerox parked on the street between them. They make sense as part of a routine built around frequent stops.
• Screens: can take some of the direct wind off you on more open stretches, especially when your usual route moves between built-up streets and wider roads.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover helps shelter the parked scooter from the weather, while a leg cover can make colder daily rides more comfortable for the rider.

Consider where the scooter spends its time as well as where you ride it. A series of street-side stops makes a lock a priority; regular outdoor parking or winter journeys may put weather protection higher on your list.
