Accessories for the Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E2

The Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E2 is a 50cc scooter suited to getting around town, where short journeys, frequent stops and on-street parking are part of the routine. That makes everyday convenience a useful starting point when deciding what to fit. Rather than focusing on long-distance riding, think about protecting the scooter from daily knocks, making colder journeys more comfortable and carrying a phone securely when travelling somewhere unfamiliar. This page covers the Aerox from 2003 to 2018.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Aerox 50 2T LC E2

• Protectors: useful when your Aerox spends its days negotiating tight parking spaces and busy streets. They can help look after areas exposed to minor bumps and scuffs, particularly if you regularly leave the scooter parked outside.
• Screens: provide some shelter from the airflow on everyday rides. Even if most journeys are across town, that extra cover can be welcome on open roads through the city or during a chilly morning commute.
• Phone mounts: keep your phone in place when you need directions to an unfamiliar address. They suit the sort of day when the Aerox takes you between several stops rather than along the same route each time.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is handy if the scooter sits outdoors between journeys, while a leg cover can make riding in colder weather more comfortable. Both address familiar parts of a year-round urban routine.
• Handlebar accessories: worth considering if you want to adjust how the controls feel in your hands. On a scooter used for repeated turns, stops and low-speed manoeuvres, the riding position is something you notice every day.

Think about where your Aerox spends most of its time: out on the road, parked in the open or taking you through colder months. Your usual journey is a good guide to which addition will be genuinely useful.
