Accessories for the Yamaha Aerox 50 4T AC E2

The Yamaha Aerox 50 4T AC E2 is a scooter suited to getting around town, where journeys often mean frequent stops, tight parking spaces and a mix of familiar streets and new routes. Those everyday demands are a useful starting point when choosing accessories. A screen can make regular rides more comfortable, while a phone mount is handy for navigation. It is also worth considering what happens when you park up, particularly if the scooter spends time outdoors.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Aerox 50 4T AC E2

For this Aerox, the most useful additions tend to address the practical details of urban riding: low-speed manoeuvres, directions across town and riding when the weather is less inviting.

• Protectors: help look after areas exposed to scuffs during parking and slow manoeuvres. They make particular sense if your Aerox is used every day and regularly has to fit into a busy motorcycle parking area.
• Phone mounts: keep your phone in view when following directions across unfamiliar parts of town. That is useful on a scooter used for errands or changing routes, without having to find somewhere to put the phone at each stop.
• Screens: deflect some of the airflow you feel while riding. On this scooter, that can make a difference when an everyday route takes in more open roads or when you continue riding through the colder months.
• Covers and leg covers: serve different parts of the routine. A cover helps shield the parked scooter from the elements, while a leg cover helps keep the rider warmer on the move. Both are worth considering if you ride throughout the year.

Think about the part of your journey that feels least comfortable, as well as where the scooter is parked between rides. That gives you a clear way to prioritise the accessories you will actually use.
