Accessories for the Yamaha Jog 50 2T AC E1

The Yamaha Jog 50 2T AC E1 is a scooter well suited to everyday trips around town. When you use it for errands, short journeys or getting from one neighbourhood to another, useful accessories tend to be those that make the ride more comfortable or help look after the scooter while it is parked. Your usual route matters too: sheltered streets place different demands on you from broad, exposed roads where you feel the wind more readily.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Jog 50 2T AC E1

The accessories available for this model focus on three familiar parts of urban riding: parking, riding into the wind and finding your way. It is worth thinking about which of those takes up most of your day:

• Protectors: useful if your Jog spends time parked on the street or you regularly manoeuvre it into tight spaces. They can help shield the areas they cover from minor knocks and scrapes, particularly when you often park close to other bikes.
• Screens: worth considering if your route takes you along open avenues or other exposed stretches. A screen can make the wind less noticeable on a repeated journey, although how much shelter you get depends on its shape and size.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view when you are heading to an unfamiliar address or making several stops across town. For a scooter used on varied city routes, that can be more convenient than taking your phone out at every junction or stop.

Match the accessory to the part of your journey you actually want to improve. Parking, wind protection and navigation are separate needs, so the most useful addition to your Jog depends on how and where you ride it.
