Accessories for YAMAHA NEO'S 4

Accessories for the Yamaha Neo's 4

The Yamaha Neo's 4 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town, with frequent stops, short rides and regular parking. That makes accessories for comfort, navigation and protection from everyday scuffs particularly relevant. Rather than setting it up for long-distance touring, it makes sense to think about the parts of your routine that could be easier: a breezy stretch of road, a tight parking space or an unfamiliar address.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Neo's 4

For this model, the available choices include protectors, screens and phone mounts. Each addresses a different aspect of urban riding, so the useful starting point is how and where you use your scooter most often.

• Protectors: frequent stops and parking in confined spaces can leave a scooter exposed to minor knocks and scuffs. Protectors are worth considering if you regularly manoeuvre the Neo's 4 beside other parked vehicles or close to walls. They offer a practical way to look after it during ordinary daily use.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the edge off the airflow when your route includes more open streets rather than only sheltered back roads. On the Neo's 4, that extra shelter is particularly relevant for regular commutes when the weather is cooler or you spend longer riding into a headwind.
• Phone mounts: these are useful when familiar errands take you to a new destination and you need directions along the way. A mounted phone keeps navigation in view without having to retrieve it from a pocket at every stop. Positioning matters on a scooter used for frequent turns and slow-speed manoeuvres: it should not get in the way of riding.

Think about the journey you make most often before deciding what to fit. Parking, exposure to the wind and finding your way around town each point towards a different addition to the Neo's 4.
