Accessories for the Yamaha Neo's 50 2T

The Yamaha Neo's 50 2T is a scooter suited to getting around town, whether that means a daily commute, a short errand or several stops in one trip. That pattern of use shapes which accessories are worth considering. Protection matters when you park in tight spaces, a phone mount can help with unfamiliar streets, and weather protection makes regular journeys more pleasant. For the 1998 Neo's 50 2T, it is worth thinking about what happens both on the road and while the scooter is parked.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Neo's 50 2T

• Protectors: useful when a scooter is repeatedly parked near kerbs or manoeuvred through confined spaces. They help look after exposed areas against the everyday scuffs that can come with frequent stops around town.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view as you navigate unfamiliar streets, rather than having to stop and take your phone out at each turn. They make particular sense if your trips take you to different addresses throughout the day.
• Locks: an important consideration when the Neo's is left outside during a shift, an appointment or a quick visit to a shop. They are part of the practical routine of using a scooter for short journeys with regular stops.
• Screens: put a barrier between you and the airflow on cooler days or on less sheltered roads. Even on a short ride, a screen can make repeated trips more comfortable when you are exposed to the wind.
• Covers and leg covers: address different sides of riding in changeable weather. A cover helps protect the parked scooter outdoors, while a leg cover can provide extra shelter for the rider on a damp or cold journey.

If you use your Neo's every day, start with the part of the journey that causes the most inconvenience: parking, finding your way or riding in poor weather. That gives you a practical way to prioritise the accessories you will actually use.
