Accessories for the Yamaha NMAX 125 Tech Max

The Yamaha NMAX 125 Tech Max is a scooter well suited to city journeys as well as trips that take in stretches of road. For everyday riding, the small details matter: frequent stops, exposure to the wind and where you leave the scooter between journeys. The most useful accessories are therefore the ones that address how you actually ride, whether that means navigating across town or making a longer regular commute more comfortable.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha NMAX 125 Tech Max

• Protectors: help look after exposed parts of the scooter where scuffs can occur while manoeuvring or parking in tight spaces. They make particular sense when the NMAX is in daily use and those small manoeuvres are part of every journey.
• Phone mounts: keep your phone in view when you need directions through unfamiliar streets. That can be useful on a scooter used for several short journeys in a day, especially when your route changes from one trip to the next.
• Handlebar accessories: let you adapt the area you use to control the scooter. If much of your riding involves stop-start traffic, it is worth considering how that area works for your usual riding position.
• Screens: change how much wind reaches you on the move. They are particularly relevant if your regular journey takes you beyond city streets and onto faster roads, where exposure to the airflow is more noticeable.
• Covers and leg covers: suit different parts of the daily routine. A cover is useful when the scooter is parked outdoors; a leg cover is aimed at keeping you more sheltered while riding in colder weather.

Think about the journeys you make most often before deciding what to fit. A short cross-town ride with frequent stops puts different demands on the scooter from a commute that includes a longer stretch of road.
