Accessories for the Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech MAX

Daily commuting and weekend rides both suit the Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech MAX, a maxi-scooter with a sporty character. The most useful accessories depend on how you divide your riding between town traffic, faster roads and longer outings. Wind protection deserves attention on an exposed commute, while regular street parking puts security higher on the list.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech MAX

• Screens: help reduce wind exposure when your journey into town includes dual carriageways or motorway stretches. On a TMAX used for longer rides as well as commuting, managing airflow matters more than it does on short trips through the centre.
• Brake levers: both hands play a part in braking on this scooter, whether you are slowing for traffic lights or approaching bends on a weekend ride. Lever shape affects how your fingers rest against these frequently used controls.
• Mirrors: rearward visibility is particularly useful on multi-lane urban roads and busy commuter routes. Mirrors can also change the look of your TMAX, but keeping a useful view behind should take priority over appearance when changing lanes.
• Protectors: are worth considering for a scooter regularly manoeuvred through tight parking spaces. They can help limit damage from minor knocks or a stationary tip-over to the areas they cover, making them relevant to everyday town use.
• Security locks: add a deterrent when your TMAX spends the working day parked on the street. Frequent stops around town are another reason to make securing the scooter part of your routine, rather than focusing only on riding accessories.

TMAX 560 Tech MAX versions and model years

The TMAX 560 Tech MAX has changed over the years, so the 2020-2021, 2022-2024 and 2025-2026 versions do not always take the same parts. Screens, mirrors and indicators are examples of accessories that do not fit every version. Choose your scooter’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
