Accessories for the Yamaha Tracer 700

The Yamaha Tracer 700 combines everyday riding with the scope for weekend touring and enjoyable runs along winding roads. That sport-touring role gives accessories a practical purpose: luggage makes the commute easier, while wind protection and comfort become more important as journeys get longer. What earns its place on your bike depends on how you split your time between town, open roads and trips away.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Tracer 700

• Screens: help reduce wind exposure on motorway stretches and longer journeys. Screen height influences where the airflow reaches your helmet and upper body, making this a useful area to consider when your Tracer spends more time touring than crossing town.
• Crash bungs and bars: can help limit damage if the bike tips over at a standstill. Daily parking, manoeuvring with luggage and stopping in unfamiliar places on tour all give this kind of protection a practical role.
• Luggage: provides room for work essentials or clothing for a weekend away without relying on a rucksack. For two-up touring, having somewhere to carry both riders' belongings makes luggage particularly relevant to the way the Tracer is used.
• Footpegs: provide the contact point for your feet through bends and during long stretches in the saddle. On a bike used for both winding-road rides and touring, foot support and leg position matter across quite different parts of the same journey.
• Phone mounts: hold your phone for navigation, whether you are following an unfamiliar touring route or finding an address in town. Keeping directions visible means you need not retrieve the phone from a pocket at every stop to check the route.

Choosing accessories for your Tracer 700's year

The Tracer 700 has changed over the years, so the 2018-2019 and 2020 versions do not all take the same parts. Protectors, screens and handlebar components are examples where fit can differ. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
