Accessories for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT

The Yamaha Tracer 9 GT brings together two sides of sports touring: enjoying winding roads and covering distance on longer trips. Your priorities will depend on how you balance those rides with commuting and holidays with a pillion. Wind protection, luggage and comfort are sensible starting points when preparing it for more time on the road.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT

• Screens: useful for tailoring wind protection on motorway stretches and full days in the saddle. For a bike that also spends time on twisting roads, consider your height and a clear view of the road ahead, rather than focusing on screen size alone.
• Panniers: luggage space matters more when a day out becomes a week away, particularly with a pillion. Plan room for both riders' belongings and think about how you will organise the items you need at fuel stops or overnight stays.
• Protectors, crash bungs and crash bars: parking and manoeuvring with luggage can leave you dealing with an awkward loss of balance. These accessories help limit damage to the areas they protect if the bike tips over during a touring stop.
• Footrests: foot support deserves attention when a ride mixes bends with long linking stretches. They let you tailor a key contact point for touring, where you hold your riding position for much longer than on a short journey across town.
• Phone mounts: a practical addition if your phone provides navigation on unfamiliar routes. Keeping directions in view saves retrieving it from your luggage at every junction. Set the route before leaving and pull over safely whenever you need to make changes.

Tr acer's versions

The Tracer 9 GT has changed over the years, and the 2021-2024 and 2025-2026 versions do not always take the same accessories. Screens, fairing parts and mirrors are examples of items that can differ. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
