Accessories for the Yamaha YP 125 Majesty S

The Yamaha YP 125 Majesty S is a scooter suited to city journeys and everyday errands. When much of your riding involves short trips, frequent stops and parking in busy streets, the most useful additions are not necessarily those you would choose for a long tour. Accessories that help with navigation, security and the small knocks of daily use are a more natural fit.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha YP 125 Majesty S

Think about the parts of your journey that happen off the open road as well as the ride itself: finding an address, squeezing into a parking space and leaving the scooter while you get on with your day.

• Protectors: help guard exposed areas against scuffs and minor knocks when you are manoeuvring the Majesty S or parking close to other vehicles. They make particular sense if your usual route includes tight spaces and several stops.
• Security locks: give you a way to secure the scooter while you are at work or running errands. For a day made up of short journeys, it is worth considering how easily you can use a lock each time you park, rather than only on longer stops.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view when you are crossing unfamiliar parts of town or visiting several addresses in one trip. That is useful on a scooter whose working day may take you along a different route each time.
• Handlebar accessories: can help you tailor the riding position to your daily routine. On the Majesty S, allow room for your hands to work the controls comfortably, particularly when turning or making slow-speed manoeuvres.

For this scooter, it pays to think about what happens at every stop as well as what feels useful while you are riding.
