Accessories for the Zontes 125C

The Zontes 125C is a custom-style bike suited to unhurried rides, whether you are crossing town or heading out onto the open road. Those journeys place different demands on a bike. In town, you spend more time stopping, parking and manoeuvring; on a longer ride, wind exposure becomes more noticeable. Thinking about where you ride most often is a useful way to choose what to fit. The aim is to make everyday use and occasional rides away from town more comfortable without losing sight of how you enjoy riding the 125C.

What riders usually fit to the Zontes 125C

• Screens: a screen can divert some of the airflow from your upper body when you take the 125C beyond town and ride at a steadier pace. That may be worth considering if a short commute sometimes turns into a longer run on the road. It is less about changing the bike’s character than about feeling a little more sheltered as the miles add up, especially if you spend a fair amount of time away from urban streets.
• Protectors: frequent stops and low-speed manoeuvres are part of using a bike around town. Protectors can help guard certain areas against minor knocks or a stationary drop, though they cannot prevent all damage. On the 125C, they are particularly relevant if you regularly park in tight spaces or move the bike in and out of them. Those routine moments are easy to overlook when planning a ride, yet they are a good reason to think about protection.

If your 125C sees both town streets and longer roads, wind shelter and protection address different parts of the same routine. Which matters more depends on where you spend most of your time riding.
