Accessories for the Zontes 350R

The Zontes 350R is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two uses call for different priorities: navigation and protection matter around town, while wind exposure becomes more noticeable on longer stretches of open road. Choosing accessories around the journeys you actually make helps give your 350R a clear purpose, rather than adding equipment for its own sake.

What riders usually fit to the Zontes 350R

• Screens: particularly useful when your commute includes motorway miles or your favourite riding roads are some distance away. On a naked bike such as the 350R, a screen can redirect some of the airflow reaching your upper body, making wind protection a practical starting point for longer journeys.
• Phone mounts: useful for following directions through unfamiliar city streets or navigating a weekend route. A mount keeps the navigation display in view rather than leaving your phone in a pocket. Position it without obscuring the instruments, and set your destination before you start riding.
• Crash protectors and bars: worth considering for a 350R used daily, with frequent parking and low-speed manoeuvres. Depending on their design, these accessories help keep certain parts of the bike from contacting the ground in a stationary drop; they serve a different purpose from purely cosmetic additions.
• Suspension: relevant when winding-road rides are a regular part of your time on the 350R. This category focuses on how the bike responds to uneven surfaces and changes of direction, putting the emphasis on road behaviour rather than appearance or shelter from the wind.

Start with the part of your routine that needs attention. Regular motorway travel points towards a screen, whereas an urban commute with plenty of parking manoeuvres gives protection a stronger claim on your priorities.
