The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2014-2018 Honda CBR650F replaces the original fairing screen, combining a sporty look with improved aerodynamic comfort. It is shaped to divert some of the airflow away from the rider.
Its double-height profile guides air away from the helmet and upper torso. Two side channels direct airflow outwards to help reduce pressure on the shoulders, while Puig uses a virtual wind tunnel to analyse the design.
- Material: 3 mm high-impact acrylic.
- Range-wide aerodynamic figures: an average improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position compared with original screens.
- Edge: a rounded profile of more than 2 mm that meets German TÜV safety requirements.
- Approval: ABE KBA 38182 VS3 for road use.
- Weight: 1729 g.
- UV resistance: helps the screen withstand exposure to sunlight.
- Fitting: requires no additional parts such as edging trim.
It suits riders who want more aerodynamic protection while keeping their bike’s sporty character. Before buying, check that the ABE documentation covers your specific motorcycle model.
