The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2017-2021 and 2026 Suzuki GSX-R1000 replaces the original fairing screen to improve aerodynamic comfort while retaining a sporting look. Its shape is intended to reduce the air pressure on the rider whether sitting upright or tucked in.
The double-bubble profile redirects airflow away from the helmet and upper torso, while two side channels guide it outwards to ease pressure on the shoulders. Puig develops the design using virtual wind-tunnel analysis.
