The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2008-2016 Yamaha YZF-R6 replaces the original screen with a sportier look. Its double-bubble shape directs air away from the helmet and upper torso, while two side channels help reduce pressure on the rider’s shoulders.
Puig develops the shape using a virtual wind tunnel to optimise airflow. The screen is designed and manufactured in Barcelona and fits without the need for an additional edging strip.
- Aerodynamic improvement: across the Z-Racing range, an average of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with original screens.
- Thickness: 3 mm.
- Edge: rounded profile measuring more than 2 mm.
- Weight: 427 g.
- Approval: ABE KBA 38182 VS3 for road use.
- Certification: TÜV.
- Durability: UV resistance.
Before fitting, check the ABE documentation to confirm that the approval covers your specific motorcycle.
