The Puig R-Racer screen replaces the original fairing screen on the Ducati 1299 Panigale (2015-2017) and 959 Panigale (2016-2019). Its increased height helps divert airflow away from the rider’s helmet and shoulders, while its shape provides a clear view through the screen.
Drawing on Puig’s racing experience, the screen’s shape is assessed in a virtual wind tunnel to optimise its aerodynamic coefficient compared with the original set-up.
