The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2009-2014 BMW S1000RR fits the original fairing, pairing a sporty shape with improved aerodynamic protection for the rider. Its design aims to ease wind pressure while riding.
The double-bubble profile directs airflow away from the helmet and upper body, while two side channels guide it outwards to help reduce pressure on the shoulders. Developed using virtual wind-tunnel analysis, the Z-Racing range delivers an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with the original screens.
