The smoked Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2008-2010 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 combines sporty styling with improved aerodynamic protection for the rider. Designed to replace the original screen, it aims to make riding more comfortable.
Its double-bubble shape directs air away from the helmet and upper torso, while two side channels guide airflow outwards to reduce pressure on the shoulders. Puig assessed the design in a virtual wind tunnel and reports an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing tuck, compared with the original screen.
