The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2009-2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 replaces the screen in the original fairing and gives the bike a sportier look. Its double-bubble shape directs airflow away from your helmet and upper body to improve riding comfort.
Puig developed the shape using a virtual wind tunnel to optimise aerodynamics. Two side channels guide air outwards, helping to reduce pressure on the rider’s shoulders.
- Material: 3 mm high-impact acrylic.
- Upright riding: an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% over the original screen.
- Racing position: an aerodynamic improvement of up to 61% over the original screen.
- Edge: a rounded profile of more than 2 mm that meets TÜV safety requirements.
- UV resistance: resistant to ultraviolet light.
- Weight: 463 g.
- ABE approval: KBA 38182 VS3.
Installation does not require an additional edge trim. Before fitting, check the ABE documentation to confirm that the approval covers your specific motorcycle.
