The Puig air duct directs airflow towards the brake calipers to help cool them during sporty riding or repeated braking. In track tests, caliper temperatures fell by an average of 10 °C, helping to maintain a more consistent braking feel.
The ABS ducts are designed and manufactured in Barcelona using plastic moulding techniques. Their shape collects and channels air towards the calipers when the brakes are working at high temperatures.
