Rizoma Grips

Rizoma grips combine anodised aluminium and rubber in a more refined design than stock grips, and they are among the brand's parts that you notice most when you take hold of the handlebar. There are six lines, Sport, Urlo, Lux, Icon, Legend and 30Gradi, and several of them come in versions for both cable throttles and ride-by-wire.

The lines, from the broadest to the most specific

• Sport and Urlo: the most complete, in black, silver, blue, gold, red and green, with a black 25.4 mm version for Harley-Davidson.
• Icon: black and silver, and also in ride-by-wire.
• Lux: ride-by-wire only, in blue and silver.
• Legend: in silver for ride-by-wire and, in 25.4 mm, chrome or black for Triumph.
• 30Gradi: in black.

Cable throttle or ride-by-wire

Your bike's throttle decides the version, and it is the easiest mistake to make. Ride-by-wire grips carry GRDW in the part number and, within one line, several differ only in the code ending (Z10, Z11, Z21, Z22 or ZTH01, which points to Triumph): each covers a group of bikes, so the list of models on the product page is what counts. The 25.4 mm ones only fit bars of that diameter. How to measure it and why the throttle system matters is covered in our motorcycle grips guide.

If you are also changing the Rizoma bar ends, they come in the same finishes so the handlebar ends up matching. Other handlebar parts from the brand are on the Rizoma page.
