Scooter gloves

Scooter gloves are worn on short trips around town, go on and off many times a day and have to look right with everyday clothes. In this section you will find the By City and Rainers gloves best suited to that kind of riding, for men and women and for summer or winter, whether you ride a 125 or a maxi-scooter.

Quick to put on, even in a hurry

In the city, a short cuff and a closure you can fasten one-handed while holding your helmet in the other make life easier. The By City Moscow for summer and the Rainers Xena (women's), G-28 and Sirocco all have a short cuff and fit easily in the space under the seat. If you like that style all year round, there are more models among our short cuff motorcycle gloves.

Winter on a scooter

On winter mornings the scooter's leg shield keeps your legs covered, but your hands are out in the air on the bars and are the first thing to get cold. That is what the By City Portland II are for, in men's and women's versions and in black, grey, red, yellow, pink or white, along with the Rainers Hot, Aspen, Flame and Polar, the last one a women's glove. If you also head out on the open road at weekends, the Rainers Touring line (KR1, Sintra, Street, Fusion, Police or Rodeo) takes protection a step further. And to shut the cold out completely, the Tucano Urbano Termoscud leg cover is the usual partner for a good pair of winter gloves.

A note if you cross the border: in France, certified gloves have been required since November 2016 for whoever rides and whoever sits behind, and the rule covers scooters and mopeds too. What that certification means and how to get the size right is explained in the motorcycle gloves guide.
