SHAD SR Side bag holder

A SHAD SR side bag holder is a light frame, different for each bike, that mounts on either side of the tail so soft saddlebags have something to rest against. Without it, a loaded bag sags towards the wheel, the exhaust or the indicators; with it, the bag stays put and clear of anything hot or moving. The part number ends in SR.

Which saddlebags it takes

It is the holder for SHAD's SR line: the SR38 Cafe Racer bag, in standard or Black form, and bags with SR in the name, such as the hard-shell E48SR. Expandable E48 bags use a different one, the SE holder; bikes like the 2017-2024 Z900 have both, so choose according to the bag. They are all in SHAD saddlebags and bags.

Bikes with an SR holder

It is designed mainly for nakeds and neo-retros, where a hard case would look out of proportion: Honda CB500F and CB500 Hornet, CB650R and CBR650R, CB750 Hornet and GB 350 S; Kawasaki Z650, Z650RS and Z900; Yamaha MT-07 and XSR 700; BMW R nineT and F 900 R/XR; Royal Enfield Interceptor, Moto Guzzi V7, Ducati Scrambler, Triumph Street Scrambler, KTM Duke 125 and 390, and models from Benelli, CFMOTO, QJMOTOR, Voge and Zontes. There is also one for the 2025-2026 Tracer 9.

As with everything SHAD makes for a specific model, check the generation: the 2020-2023 and 2024-2026 CB650R take different holders. The brand's other luggage parts are gathered under SHAD.
