SW-MOTECH Windscreens

The SW-MOTECH windscreen in this section is a compact screen for bikes without a fairing: nakeds, neo-retro and scramblers that come with nothing in front of the rider. It takes some of the wind pressure off your chest at motorway speed and gives the bike a more finished front end, in a black or silver finish.

Bikes with a screen

Neo-retro and scrambler models dominate: Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120, Speed Twin 1200, Scrambler 400 X and 1200, Street Scrambler and Trident 660; Kawasaki Z900RS; Yamaha XSR900 and MT-09; BMW R nineT; Suzuki SV650; Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 and CFMOTO 700CL-X Heritage. Each part is for one model and a range of years, so the year of your bike decides the purchase.

Choosing a finish and setting expectations

Black suits dark engines, frames and wheels; silver goes with chrome and polished aluminium. The screen deflects some of the air, but how much depends on its size, and a bike without a fairing does not turn into a tourer: if you want fewer buffeting problems at the helmet on long trips, read the guide to motorcycle windshields first, which explains how height and tint make a difference.

Also check that the headlight and the clocks remain unobstructed. For the rest of the brand's catalogue, visit SW-MOTECH.
