Termignoni Oval Exhausts

Termignoni Oval exhausts take their name from the oval cross-section of the silencer, a shape that gives a good internal volume without the can sticking out as far from the side of the bike. Three part numbers remain today, all for bikes from earlier generations and from worlds that have nothing in common:

• BMW R 1200 GS from 2010-2012, the last of the air and oil-cooled generation, in stainless steel.
• Honda CBR 1000 RR from 2008-2012, also in steel.
• Montesa Cota 300 RR and 4RIDE (2013-2017) and Cota 4RT 260 (2017-2021), in titanium: a trials silencer, where taking weight off the back of the bike pays off in every section.

If your bike belongs to a more recent generation, look for its exhaust among the other Termignoni lines. And before fitting one of these to a registered bike, check on the product page whether it is road-approved; what a roadworthiness test looks at on an exhaust is covered in our motorcycle exhausts section.
