The Puig R-Racer screen for the Yamaha YZF-R1 (2015-2019) and YZF-R1M (2016-2019) replaces the original screen to provide greater aerodynamic protection. Its increased height helps direct airflow away from your helmet and shoulders while maintaining a clear view through the screen.
Puig has assessed its shape in a virtual wind tunnel to optimise the aerodynamic coefficient. Drawing on the brand’s racing experience, R-Racer screens are designed and manufactured in Barcelona.
- Material: 3 mm high-impact acrylic.
- Edge: rounded profile of more than 2 mm, meeting TÜV safety requirements.
- Approval: ABE KBA 38182 VS3.
- Weight: 427 g.
- Durability: UV resistance.
- Quality control: checked using a machine-vision system during manufacture.
- Fitting: straightforward installation without additional edging trim.
Before using the screen on public roads, check the ABE documentation to confirm that its approval covers your specific motorcycle model.
