The Puig R-Racer screen for the Yamaha YZF-R6/Race (2017-2026) and YZF-R7 (2022-2026) is designed to improve wind protection while maintaining a clear view through the screen. Taller than the original screen, it helps divert airflow away from the rider’s helmet and shoulders.
Its shape has been assessed using a virtual wind tunnel to optimise airflow. Puig draws on its racing experience in developing the R-Racer range.
