AC Coins terms

AC Coins is the ACMOTOS loyalty programme: you earn AC Coins with your purchases and use them as a discount on your next orders. These terms complement the purchase conditions.

1. Who takes part

All customers with an account on acmotos.com, at no cost and with no sign-up. Purchases without an account (as a guest) do not earn AC Coins.

2. How you earn them

  • 2 AC Coins for every euro paid for products, VAT included. Shipping costs and the part of the order paid with discounts or with AC Coins do not count. The figure is rounded down.
  • If you pay in another currency, it is calculated with its equivalent in euros, at the order's exchange rate.
  • 50 AC Coins for every published product review (75 if it is published with a photo), whatever your rating, under the review guidelines.
  • During campaigns announced on the website, the AC Coins per euro may be multiplied for the products and dates set by each campaign.

3. When they become available

An order's AC Coins are pending when you buy and become available when the order leaves our warehouse. We let you know by email when they are available.

4. How you use them

  • 100 AC Coins are worth €1. You can use them from 100 AC Coins.
  • They are applied automatically as a discount on the products in the order, in the cart and at checkout; they do not apply to shipping costs. If your balance is worth more than the products, the rest stays in your account.
  • If you prefer to save them, you can choose not to use them on an order.
  • They can be used together with discount codes.
  • Their value is fixed in euros: if you shop in another currency, the equivalent applies.
  • They cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.

5. Cancellations and returns

  • If an order is cancelled before it leaves the warehouse, its pending AC Coins are cancelled.
  • If it is cancelled, refunded or returned later, the AC Coins it gave you are deducted; for a partial return, the proportional part. If you had already used them, your balance may go negative until your next purchases make up for it. They are never deducted from the money we refund you.
  • If we cancel or fully refund an order in which you used AC Coins, those AC Coins go back to your balance. For a partial return we refund the amount you paid; the AC Coins used are not returned.

6. Expiry

AC Coins expire 12 months after your last order. Each new order extends the period for your whole balance, so as long as you buy once a year they do not expire. We will email you before they expire.

7. Misuse

We may cancel AC Coins obtained fraudulently or against these terms, for example through orders placed to collect them and then returned, or through fake reviews.

8. Changes and end of the programme

We may change these terms or end the programme. We will announce it on the website at least 30 days in advance, and during that period you will still be able to use your available balance.

9. Your balance and questions
