Akrapovič Exhaust in Carbon for Kawasaki ZX 10 R (16-20) S-K10SO16-HZC

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line silencer for the Kawasaki ZX-10R 2016-2020 replaces the standard unit with a race-inspired hexagonal design. Its muffler and end cap are made from carbon fibre.

Akrapovič reports gains in power and torque across the rev range. An optional carbon-fibre muffler bracket is available to change its appearance. The figures below come from Akrapovič’s measurements on the motorcycle in its product data and may vary by model.

• Titanium components: pipes and internal muffler parts.
• Peak power gain: 0.5 metric hp (0.4 kW) at 11,050 rpm.
• Peak torque gain: 0.7 Nm at 5,100 rpm.
• Weight: 1.3 kg versus 2.2 kg for the standard exhaust, a 40.9% reduction.
• Approval: EC-ECE type approval and TÜV Euro 4 approval.
• Fitting time: approximately 20 minutes.
• Noise reducer: no dB killer is fitted.

An optional link pipe is available to improve performance. Fitting it requires an ECU remap.
