The Puig R-Racer screen for the 2023-2024 BMW M1000RR replaces the original fairing screen to improve aerodynamics while maintaining a clear view through it. Its increased height deflects some of the airflow that would otherwise reach the rider’s helmet and shoulders.
Developed using Puig’s racing experience, its shape has been analysed in a virtual wind tunnel to optimise the drag coefficient (Cx). It is designed and manufactured in Barcelona.
- Material: 3 mm high-impact acrylic.
- Edge: rounded profile of more than 2 mm, meeting TÜV safety requirements.
- Weight: 388 g.
- UV resistance: designed to withstand exposure to ultraviolet rays.
- Approval: ABE KBA 38182 VS3 for road use.
- Fitting: requires no additional items such as edge trim.
