GIVI Kickstand Extensions

A Givi side stand extension is a part that bolts to the foot of the side stand and enlarges its footprint, so the bike does not sink or lean when you park on dirt, sand, grass or heat-softened asphalt. Givi makes them to measure for each bike, in aluminium or stainless steel depending on the model, and almost all are for heavy adventure and touring bikes.

When you notice it

It matters most when the bike is loaded: with full Givi luggage and a full tank, all that weight rests on a stand foot just a few centimetres across, and in a gravel car park or on beach sand it does not take long to dig in. A wider base spreads the load and saves you a nasty surprise when you come back.

Which bikes they fit

• Honda: Africa Twin, CRF 300 L, NX 500, NC750X, X-ADV and Forza 750, plus one for several models.
• Yamaha: Ténéré 700, Tracer 7 and Tracer 9, and another for several models.

Check the years: the 2017-2020 X-ADV and the 2021-on model, take different extensions, and the V85 TT has two part numbers. If you are getting your bike ready for touring, Givi crash bars are usually the next step, and Givi has everything else the brand makes.
