GIVI Tank Bag Mounts

Givi tank bag mounts are the Tanklock rings: a part with a BF number that fits onto your bike's fuel filler cap and that the bag clips onto. You only buy it once, because the ring stays on the bike and you can swap the bag whenever you like for another one in the same system.

Finding the right one for your bike

• By model and years: the ring depends on the shape of the filler cap, which changes between generations. The Africa Twin CRF1000L and CRF1100L and the Transalp 750 share the BF25, while the R 1300 GS takes the BF84.
• Rings for several models: some, such as the BF30 for Honda or the BF04 and BF71 for Kawasaki, fit many bikes from the same maker, each one detailed on the product page.
• Newer brands: there are rings for CFMOTO, Voge, Kove, QJMOTOR, Zontes, Moto Morini or Royal Enfield, as well as the usual makes.

Another quick route: register your bike in your garage, and the bar sitting above the products will tell you how many rings suit it and let you filter down to those.

Which bags it takes and how to refuel

The rings are Tanklock/ED: they take both Tanklock and Tanklocked bags, so a single ring lets you use anything from a 3-litre XStream for the commute to a 20-litre XLine for touring. To fill up, the bag unclips from the ring without tools and clips back on when you are done. The compatible bags are under GIVI tank bags, and for other brands or systems, see motorcycle backpacks and bags.
