GIVI Tank Bags

Givi tank bags range from 3 litres, enough for a phone and wallet, to 27 litres for an expandable touring bag. The brand groups them into lines, and most exist with more than one mounting system, so the practical approach is to choose the line and capacity first and then the version that suits your tank.

Givi's tank bag lines

• EASY: the widest line, in magnetic, Tanklock or strap-on versions, from 6 to 27 litres; several have an expansion gusset for when you need more room.
• XStream: all Tanklock, from 3 to 20 litres; the XS308Y is the Trail version and the largest.
• XLine: Tanklock and expandable, from 15 to 20 litres.
• Corium: 8 litres, magnetic or Tanklock.
• Canyon and Gravel-T: strap-on, designed for adventure riding and gravel; the GRT716 is waterproof.
• Metro-T and Weightless: small, 5 litres, with Tanklock.

For Tanklock versions, the ring for your bike is under GIVI tank bag mounts.

How many litres you need

• 3 to 6: phone, documents and wallet. The size that gets in the way least on a naked bike, or on an adventure bike when you ride standing up.
• 8 to 16: the everyday size, with room for gloves, a windproof layer or a bottle of water.
• 15 to 27: for touring. The expandable ones stay compact the rest of the time.

With the larger bags, check that with the bars on full lock they do not touch the switchgear or the dash, and that they do not hide the instruments. If you want your phone in view, Easy-T bags take the EASYSH phone holder, which you will find among the GIVI luggage accessories. To compare them with SW-MOTECH or SHAD tank bags, you will find them all under motorcycle backpacks and bags.
