Givi Windscreens

Givi windscreens and scooter screens are tailored to each bike and its generation, and most of them are clear. The range is especially broad for scooters and for adventure and touring bikes, and it includes its own family of adjustable screens, the Airflow. To find yours quickly, it helps to know how to read the part number.

What the part number tells you

The number of the screen usually matches the one Givi gives the bike, and the letters around it show the tint and how it is fitted:

• Ending in ST or DT: clear. Ending in S or D: smoked. There are also black, matt black and grey versions, and the odd blue one, such as the screen for the SH 125.
• With the AF prefix: an adjustable Airflow screen.
• Screens ending in A or DT are usually fitted with a separate kit; the kit's name lists the screen codes it works with.
• Two codes linked by a plus sign, as in 1190DT+D1190KIT for the 2021-2024 PCX 125, mean the kit is already included.

Airflow: the screen that goes up and down

Airflow screens are made of two panels: the upper one slides over the lower one, so you can raise it on the motorway or drop it in town and on gravel. Givi makes them for the V-Strom 650, 800 and 1050, the Africa Twin CRF1000L, the Crosstourer, the F 700, 750, 800 and 850 GS, the 2004-2012 R 1200 GS, the KTM 390, 790 and 890 Adventure, the Versys, the V85 TT, the Tiger 800 and the NX 500, and among scooters, the Burgman 400 and Silver Wing.

Where the range is strongest

Scooters

This is the biggest part: tall screens for the PCX, SH, Forza, X-ADV, XMAX, N-MAX, TMAX or Burgman, for the Kymco Agility, People, Xciting or Downtown, for the Piaggio Beverly, Liberty, Medley and MP3, and for many SYM, Zontes and Voge models. On many models the same screen comes in both clear and smoked.

Adventure and touring

Taller or wider screens than stock for the R 1300 GS, R 1250 GS, Transalp 750, Africa Twin, the Tiger and Tracer, the Multistrada or the Versys, and also for touring classics such as the Varadero or the NT 700 Deauville. For the Africa Twin there are matt black versions too.

Naked, neo-retro and custom

Here Givi uses small screens that it adapts to many bikes with a different kit for each, such as the 1173S, the 1176A or the grey 100AL for the Rebel 500 and the XSR700 and 900. The brackets for each bike are under Givi windscreen fitting kits.

How to choose height and tint for your riding position, whichever brand you pick, is covered in motorcycle windscreens. And if you are getting an adventure bike ready for touring, the Givi crash bars usually carry the same bike number as the screen.
