Highsider Pedals and Footpegs

The Highsider pedals and footpegs are universal kick-start and gear pedals, in several colours, plus a moped footrest. They are for replacing a bent or broken pedal on a bike with a kick-starter, or for adding a touch of colour to the foot controls.

Kick-start pedal

There are six colours: blue, carbon, chrome, black, gold and red. It is a universal pedal, which fits onto the splined shaft of the kick-start. Even though it is called universal, it will not fit just any shaft: check the number of splines and the diameter of your bike's shaft, and that the arm does not catch the engine or bodywork as it swings out.

Gear pedal

The universal gear pedal comes in grey, silver and red. It mounts on the gearshift shaft, with the same caution: how it fits depends on the splines of that shaft. When you fit it, set the pedal at a height that lets the toe of your boot reach it without moving your foot off the footpeg, and tighten it fully.

Moped footrest

The footrest is designed for a moped, and it is a replacement part. If what you are after is a wider platform with a different grip, take a look at the motorcycle footrests; and to complete the cockpit of a classic bike, the Highsider levers.
