Highsider Switches and Electrical Accessories

The Highsider switches and electrical accessories are the small components of a project bike's electrics: handlebar switches and control pods, brake light switches, horns, LED indicator lights, a USB charger and connectors. They are parts for customs, cafe racers and scramblers, and several are designed for ATVs.

Handlebar controls

The left-hand electric controls and the switch pods are for rebuilding the handlebar switchgear, and they come for ATVs and for motorcycles. The On/Off switches, with a rubber cover or for handlebar mounting, operate an extra light or an accessory. There is also an indicator switch with a reset function and a stop button.

Brake light, horn and warning lights

• Brake light switches, front and rear: one for each brake, so the light comes on when either is applied.
• 12 V horns, in 70, 72 and 100 mm versions, in black, silver and chrome. A horn is a required item and is checked at inspection.
• LED warning lights in the usual dashboard colours: blue for high beam, green for indicators, red for oil, and others in yellow, red and green.

Power and connectors

The 12 V USB charger and the 2-way USB connector bring power for a phone from the bike's electrics. For the wiring there are round male and female connectors, a 100 µF capacitor with a lead and a cable holder, the Cable Fix, which keeps the loom tidy.

If the switch is for turning on added lights, see the Highsider auxiliary lights. To rebuild the rest of the electrics there are the Highsider turn signals, and the whole brand is on the Highsider page.
